Hey guys,
I am planning to visit Maputo soon and I will be working remotely from there. I was wondering if anyone can recommend some of the best internet service providers in Maputo. I would prefer uncapped with no constant connection issues.

Most spoken language in Inhambane?
Hello, I've been coming twice yearly to Mozam for about 20 years now. (My dad owns a boat charter in bara). I've learned some portuguese, but last time one local guy I've known told me to learn a local language.
Just want to know so I can learn some phrases. Also, for some reason I didn't realise portuguese was the adopted language and now I feel very dumb.

Going to Maputo to study
Hi, I'm Brazilian and am set to go to Maputo to study for 6 months starting on August. Could you give me advice and maybe you know of someone renting a room too? I'll be attending Universidade Alberto Chipande, so if you know anything about it, I could use it too!

Hello—I’m a student researching Arab support for the RENAMO in the 80s. Have some questions.
Are there any local/Portuguese sources that talk about Arab (Saudi/Omani) support for the RENAMO? I see claims made going back to the early 80s, but not much in English and even less in Arabic.

English to African Languages
Hello everyone, I am continuing to learn languages, and as such am interested in the different languages spoken in Africa. I've created the following survey to gain a better idea of how the languages differ, if you could respond to the survey that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

O que acham da agricultura celular?
Hey maltinha do Reddit!
Obrigado!

I’ve just broken my waterproof case for my go pro (appreciate this is unlikely) is there anywhere in Maputo or even Tofo that might sell Go Pro equipment?

Travel Maputo > Blantyre
Good afternoon everyone, looking for some assistance in planning a travel route from Maputo to Blantyre.
Ideally I would like to avoid flying as it is very costly.
Is there a bus that operates between the two cities?
I’m aware that private bus companies such as cheetah express can get me up the coast as far as Vilankulos. Could I then take a bus inland to Blantyre from there?
I’ve also seen online there may potentially be a train service running from Beira to Tete. Does this actually exist?
Apologies for all the questions. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Transfer Beira - Vilanculos
Hi friends !
After years of dreaming about it, I just booked tickets for August and will spend 3 weeks visiting your incredible country.
After landing in Maputo, I will be going to Beira to explore the city and spend a couple of days in Gorongosa, but I’m struggling to organize my trip from Beira to Vilanculos.
I do not believe the direct flight still exists, and the info regarding buses is not very precise.
Could you kindly let me know what solutions exist, if any ?
Bonus question : when travelling we like to help when we can by bringing things/goods not easily purchasable or affordable locally to distribute. Would you have any suggestion ? I hope it is not offensive to do so !
Thank you for your help !
