Gameplay Shot meter on or off?

Getting pretty tired of being a shit shooter, when I used to play 2k it was just watching a players release and I never had any issues. Now I have this fucking bar I have to green and half the time it still doesn’t go in.

Do you guys have the meter on or off?

Park The 2K community is to blame for the problems in Park/Rec

I’ve been playing 2k park/rec heavy since 2k14. Back then, it seemed like everything was more casual. Not as many people ran from games, people didn’t bring up the phone every time to check win percentage, etc etc.

Nowadays it seems like everybody is trying to be comp. Rec probably has 3-4x as many squads nowadays compared to the older days, park is filled with kids avoiding comp or comp avoiding other comp… Ball hogging/chuckers are more rampant than ever.

While 2k could be better and stop charging so much for builds, there’s no denying that the community is partly responsible for the problems of the park/rec.

Park “I don’t know what any of that means. I don’t play basketball”

I was just playing a game with all randoms and like always; I have my mic on trying to communicate with my team

We were getting absolutely killed with a high screen and roll/pop and I was trying to explain to our PG that we need to switch on defense, commit to stopping the 3, and give up the easy 2 if we can’t get a stop

He literally replied with “I don’t know what any of that means, I don’t play basketball”

I really wish our community would watch and play just a little bit of basketball.

MyCAREER Setting Pro Stick to Dribbles

• Upvotes

Anyone do this hear? I am trying it out right know and it seem like it has great potential, but a lot of times I do something really stupid where I look like trash. Is it an optimal setting at all? Are you able to perform advanced mores better and easier?

Rec Cant say im good, the other 6'9 center was dropping 20% contest shots in my face, but im not sure exactly why my team decided to go 14 and 39.

Pro-Am Players selling in Rec.. what can be done?

I don’t remember players ever being this emotional on a 2k before.. people quit before the first quarter can end because they’re losing, People start to sell because they don’t get the ball every possession as if they were playing Mycareer, some players even get mad at the entire team and start to sell because THEY’RE MISSING SHOTS… when I play 2k I’m just trying to have fun but it’s damn near impossible when my team or the other team quits or sells the game. I don’t know what 2k can do to fix it, but I’m pretty much done with the community at this point.
