IHart's pass to Josh was fucking beautiful.
RJ had a sweet cut cause he knew IHart would find him.
Mitch had 14 rebounds in 22 minutes, 9 offensive.
I love this team. We playing Milwaukee in the 2nd round.
God speed, Julius.

they're learning/unleashing how to play next to him.
these cuts and quick corner movement setups weren't happening until these last couple of games

RJ also does well when he cuts. Either makes it or gets fouled. Definitely need more of this action

Bc he doesn’t have to make a decision lol. I root for RJ but his drives are hurtful.

It's been painful to watch RJ these past couple weeks as I'm more aware of fans coming for him. I still think he's not in a great head space and there's an objectively valuable NY Knick in there. Seeing him being called out on court by Obi - maybe that can unlock something.
Here's a vote for Thibs while we're at it. He sees the path RJ has to go; RJ is struggling partly because he's trying to make Thibs' changes while bolstering his own confidence justifying getting his bag...

Really is amazing how long it took for us to unlock this part of his game when Thibs literally coached prime Joakim Noah

I really do think his Achilles held him back. Not that I was an iHart truther at any point, but the difference is really only explainable by injury.

He should've been used like Joakim Noah (Thib's first point center) all along. Hart has a ton of untapped potential that we were wasting by having him just sit under the rim
Let him get the ball at the top of the key and throw cut-down passes

He's finally realized his potential on this team. It's truly beautiful to watch. Best bench unit in the NBA. Look at the box +/-. I know it doesn't tell all in one game but over the course of the season it does.

Doesn't he bunt after that? So that somebody else can steal a base?

He was hurt in the beginning of the season. Glad that he is finally healthy. Can't wait to see what he does in the playoffs.

The last 15 games Isaiah Hartenstein has a +20 net rating

Man i remember Murray and Hart 2 man game on the Nuggets. The short amount of time they had together reminded me of Jokic and Murray sets.
Really crazy how nuggets sub dismissed this guy like he was trash..

Everyone fighting about Jokic vs Embiid but real ones know we've got the real MVP in NY

zero mentions of the ihart feed to the deuce dunk. you all should be ashamed of yourselves.

u/concernedesigner Apr 01 '23
That was prob my favorite one. And Ive never seen that on a court. Deuce cut, knowing that with ihart holding the ball, it may appear in front of him lol
When i play with friends? I would never pass to someone not looking at me or the ball lmao

Lol ppl just now realizing his heritage
In all seriousness, I love the guy. I always go down these weird holes when we sign a new player with that what if potential. He's so much different than Robinson but his skill set works so well with this team. I love his passion so much and he's only 24.

u/Dragonthorn1217 Apr 01 '23
It's crazy. He's literally the same age as Sims and Obi. Just needs to have more confidence in his shot. But you can argue that he's already got all of the tools in place.
2
u/therealjgreens 33 Apr 01 '23
If he can hit a middy, he could actually play alongside Mitchell and could start many games given a matchup issue such as with someone like AD

u/Dragonthorn1217 Apr 01 '23
The shot is in his bag. He was taking 3 pointers earlier this season. That would also make his passing more effective as you need to guard against his shot.

As I've said, having him with that fraud Sims on the court was not allowing him to shine. He's really good.

What a difference his play has been since he healed from his injury. He brings a different kind of zest to the court from Robinson. Mitchell Robinson is a beast at defending the rim and getting those rebounds. He’s not a good ball handler and not a good passer. Hartenstein helps the offense flow with his passing and while he doesn’t get blocks at the same rate as Robinson, he ends up with some nice and timely blocks. Low key awesome acquisition!!
